1. Where the press is lacking or cannot be used, the end rod joint bearing can be installed with an assembly sleeve and a small hammer. The hammering force should be evenly transmitted to the entire circumference of the end face of the end rod joint bearing ring, so the assembly sleeve The end face hit by the hammer should be made into a spherical shape.

2. The force required to install the rod end joint bearing is related to the size of the joint bearing and the size of the matching interference. For medium or large joint bearings with large interference, the hot-fitting method is commonly used, and the end rod joint bearing is hot-fitted. Or put the separable joint bearing ring into an oil tank or a special heater to evenly heat to 80-100 degree , not more than 100 degree .

3. Hot-fitting joint bearings requires skilled operation skills. When the joint bearing is taken out from the heating oil tank or heater, immediately wipe off the oil and attachments on the joint bearing surface with a clean cloth (note that cotton yarn cannot be used), and then place it in front of the mating surface. The joint bearing should be pushed to the place against the shaft shoulder. Always push it tightly during the cooling process, or use a small hammer to tap the joint bearing through the assembly sleeve to make it tight. When installing the end rod joint bearing, rotate the joint bearing slightly to avoid The installation is overturned or stuck.

4. When the outer ring of the end rod joint bearing is tightly fitted with the shell hole, the shell can be heated and then installed into the joint bearing, especially the light metal joint bearing.
